I'm biding my time on the second battery purchase. Going ahead and getting the big battery in since it's just sitting in the garage, fuse panel and circuit breaker mounted, line to cargo area with Blue Sea panel installed (when it's not on backorder). I'm making a road trip in a couple weeks and would like to leave the fridge plugged up the whole time. Figure this way I'll just have to wire up the second battery/circuit breaker and the cable to the fuse panel when I decide which battery (And planning the Big 3 at this point). But if this setup works for me without the second battery, even better. Won't really know til I get the camper powered up but that won't be this trip.

The battery fit fine and all cables reached except the one from the positive terminal to the fuse box. I did a quick and dirty splice that night to make the gal usable. I did, however, have a random incident of the engine struggling to start. Once it did, I was reading 13.6v which was a drop from
the initial installation.
So today I replaced the cable running from the positive terminal of the battery to the main fuse box. It was a little bit of a PITA. The debacle going on with Photobucket didn't help when I was researching. I did everything imaginable to get the clips to release and the darn thing would budge. So the clips got released from existence when I drilled them out. I managed to pull the inside section up far enough to get the job done. The clips not being there doesn't seem to make a huge difference in the security and integrity of the assembly. Back up to 14.2-14.3v.
Anyway, that's done.

As for the zero point calibration, I test drove a 2006 V6 Sport that threw those lights when I took it to Autozone to have any codes pulled. Seems that plugging the code reader in sometimes triggers them. Dealer had to do the calibration to make them go away. Busted.

Oh my goodness, the delivery fairies were busy delivering some good deals while I was away! Picked up a used Micro-Start XP-1 for $37 and a new Norco G7200 charger for $48. And if anyone has the Dometic/Waeco cf-18 refrigerator and wants model specific insulated bag, the whole world is out of stock, so I was happy to find this one new with free shipping for $51.

I believe you'll like your Noco G7200 charger, I have a Noco G26000 and it's great and will do it all, battery chargers have come a long way in recent years, hard to believe what they can do in such a small package!!

I announced "it's xmas in July" when I saw the packages! I'm looking forward to using the Noco. I have a 12+ yr old Black and Decker smart charger but it's been resurrected more than once. Figured I'd update. And until I decide definitively on installing a second battery, the jump pack is a little peace of mind. Wish my Blue Sea panel would hurry up and get here. Not having constant fridge power was not ideal in 95 degree/80% humidity, but the fridge performed great when I had it on.

Thought I'd post a few progress pics of the portable power generator. Planning to finish sometime this week to hit the road with it next week. I'll add solar later on.
This is the case I found locally on Facebook Marketplace. The price and features were kind of what I had been thinking about and I wasn't going to lay down the cash for a new Pelican case. This a Hardigg military transport case- $35

I ordered most of the parts on eBay and Amazon since I was still hoarding eBay gift cards from last Christmas and my birthday.
Found a new (in storage) ACDelco golf cart battery for $10. Unfortunately, I couldn't find another one locally so I bought a Duracell with the same specs from Batteries+. It's not ideal to have different brand batteries or even same brand but different ages, however, saving $130 won out. I'll be learning solar, amongst other things, with this setup, so I'd rather not sink a ton into T-105's or the like at this time.
Got some assembly in today.
Still so much more to do...
