2004 4Runner - Front/Rear 12v outlets dead

I've seen this on the forums so it must be an issue but I'd appreciate help/suggestions. The front and rear 12v power outlets in my 4R are dead. I pulled the fuse (the power outlet fuse in the cabin) and it was fine. Replaced it anyway and still having issues.

I haven't checked under the console cover yet, but could someone explain how to actually remove the cover so I can?

Thanks in advance!!

I'm actually having the same exact problem in an 04 SE. Fuse is fine.

I removed the center console cover and got to the bottom of the outlet there, and everything seems fine. Harness plugged in, wiring all looks good, etc. To get to that one, open the upper compartment cover and you can pull-up on that whole center black section of the center console (from the front of that box forward) -- it clicks out with the same little compression snapping fasteners as a lot of the other trim. I took it apart just via trial and error pretty easily, but there's probably a better guide somewhere. My guess right now is that there's another fuse somewhere else that blew, besides the one I checked already in the cabin.

Thanks Cali!

It was finally warm enough to be outside for a while today (no garage). I 2x checked the fuse just to make sure I wasn't missing something and then I followed your instructions for removing the console cover. Sure enough....the harness was unplugged. And the DAC was unplugged for good measure! Glad I found that before I needed it and learned the hard way.

Anyway, the power outlet in the center console is now working, but the outlet in the rear is still dead. I'll see if I can pull the panel off around the subwoofer and get a look at the harness.
