Bought the rig a little while ago with the intention of spending some time away from pavement. Unfortunately my free time is limited so it wasn't until Christmas that I've been able to do much of anything with it. I realized I don't have any photos of the outside yet. I'm hoping that tomorrow the blizzard will give me a chance to take some.

I had the XREAS system removed, Bilstein 5100s put in front and back. Currently they're set to stock height in the front.

I did the VSC off switch mod as well

I also just ordered a set of Hankook DynaPro ATM 265/65R17s. I'll be keeping it pretty stock for a bit until my fiance and I get a second rig, which is tough with two students and an upcoming wedding.

Tires are here!

Unfortunately UPS scored a 75% and lost one of them. I've spent so much time on the phone with them and gotten nowhere. I'd feel better if they could at least say "hey we found it" but they're like "we have no idea where it is". Hopefully its found so I can get these installed tomorrow....

After fighting UPS all day, I just went to the facility and said I wasn't leaving until I got my tire. The woman up front took all of fifteen minutes to go find it for me and was very nice.

I had them put on the next day but I was trying to wait for good weather for a car wash. I gave up.

After talking to ARK, I went ahead and ordered the 1.5" Daystar spacer and will be ratcheting up the front bilsteins and the installing the spacer. In the mean time I am going to start hunting for FJ coils. I've also got new stands coming so I can do the front and rear differentials and the transfer case fluids, a date with the dealership for a transmission flush (dealership wants 120, everyone else wants 250+ and wants to put a new filter in even though Toyota says its a lifetime filter), and thinking about the timing belt coming up (i'm right at 85k).

I'm also drafting up some drawers for the back after sourcing some drawer sliders (28" long) for free to help with the cost.

After perusing for a while, I've set up some of my upcoming mods.

First off, my tools arrived. Need to build a bed with shelves under it first, but then I'll get to my rear drawers. I'm really impressed with Dusty Driftwood's drawers so I'm going to attempt to approximate them.

There was an issue with the daystar spacers, so I've canceled the order and will be ordering from Amazon along with a LED kit for the interior.

I really would like to get a rooftop tent, but this would require putting out some funds for a new roof rack. That puts a damper on it... If i can score a cheap basket I'll probably go that route for now.

Next, I would like to get spidertrax and see if I like them.
