2004 runner was checked at Toyota service center because 4x4 would not engage. they said wiring is chew to the transfer case and actuator and needs replaced at a cost of $300. is this something that is a plug and play or more technical? they also said that maybe the only start of the problems since they can not test the actual 4 wheel drive. Is the wiring something I can do or just have the service dept do it. also where might I find the wiring to replace the "chewed" ones? winter is in full swing and my 4runner is like driving with ice skates without the 4x4!
