I don't know what to do . My 2004 Sport Edition threw a rod at 142K . Dealer says need new engine but I don't have the time or cash currently to do this . Deciding to sell the car but have no idea how much it may be worth . I am original owner and baby' ed her . Nothing else wrong with her. What should I do?

You could keep it and fix it later and just get a beater for the time being, sell it and make enough cash to buy a 3rd gen, or part it out and hopefully make Anouilh cash to buy another 4th.

If its paid for you should be able to put a small loan against it to pay for the repair cost. Probably be a personal loan secured by the vehicle. Not ideal, but if you don't have the cash it would most likely be better interest than a credit card, and cheaper than even a crappy replacement car.

I'd also like to know V6 or V8. I honestly expect it being a V6.
