2004 V8 4WD - steering rack replacement + hoses

I've been searching for a definitive parts thread to refer to on replacing the steering rack, plus anything else that should probably be addressed while doing that, but haven't found one yet. This includes things like hoses, and even sway bar bushings if the sway bar gets dropped during rack replacement. Anything else I'm missing?

Also, I'm not clear on whether or not the pressure "hose" (I think its a metal tube??) listed below is considered a to-do if it's not obviously damaged or leaking. Opinions?

For my 2004 Sport V8 4WD, I see part #'s:
1. 44200-35061 for the rack and pinion which appears to be complete from tierod end to tierod end. There are two diff parts #'s here, the otehr appears to be for 2005+.
2. 44417-35011 for upper return hose.
3. 44406-35021 for lower return hose.
4. 44413-35010 for the pressure hose.

This is in So Cal, rust-free, 119k miles. I use OEM parts...yes I know there's aftermarket that's cheaper. I've found that my local dealer will allow their prices to be haggled down to match the on-line guys so I've been going that route lately. An independent mechanic will do the work. Work will be done by local independent Toyota mechanic.
