Both are optional on the limited.

Apparently all Canadian Limited models came/come standard with both. There is hardly anything that is optional on Canadian Limited models.

Toyota does that with most of their Canadian models. In the U.S. the tow package is optional on the V6 RAV4. In Canada all V6 RAV4s come with the tow package standard.

Finally bit the bullet and bought a 2007 Limited V8 in Meterorite Metallic. The other half said she preferred it over Titanium Silver. I wasn't quibbling over color. It also has essentially brand new Michelin LTX A/T 2 tires on it so I won't need new rubber for a long time. Most of the other used 4Runners I looked at were in desperate need of new rubber. Pick it up Thursday.

I also just bought a 4runner again this weekend after my own bout with dementia last year when I traded my old 4runner for a honda accord. I then progressed to trade that in for a highlander after wrecking the accord. All the while missing the runner like you.

So I totally understand your story about the "wandering eyes" every time you saw a 4runner.

By the way, I'm the guy with that started the thread on this forum about whether to buy a used 2008 or wait for the 2010...it's definitely nice to be back.

You're the same guy from the Pilot forums, aren't you? I remember when you first got your 4Runner and started a thread to compare it with your Pilot. Even back then, I got the impression that you liked the 4Runner better.

I used to browse that site a lot back then because my mother was considering purchasing a new Pilot and she asked me if I knew anything about them. Since I already owned a 4Runner, I was interested in reading your threads when I came upon them on the Pilot forum.

Anyway, it's interesting to see that you sold your Pilot and then sold your 4Runner, but now you want to be back in another 4Runner again.

Yes. the 4Runner did make a lasting impression on me, something the Pilot was never able to do. Now if you ask my wife about it she will tell you that she misses the Pilot as she found it very easy and comfortable to drive. Now she mostly drives the RAV4 and she does like it, especially the ability to smoke drivers who try to outrace her in the curb lane when two lanes merge into one on the other side of a stoplight
