if i buy hid fog lights, will the factory switch still operate? or will i need to somehow mod it to work. If i do this does anyone know of any write ups?
It will work just like normal. You're just swapping out the halogen bulbs for HIDs (of course adding ballasts, igniters etc.). No reason for the switch not to work or behave differently.
