2005 4Runner SR5

Hey, this is my First Time posting on the boards and I am glad that all the T4R owners have a gathering spot here on the web. I have never owned a 4Runner before and this is my first foreign vehicle and I am now converted. American cars just aren't what they used to be. I was just wondering, does anybody on here have just a regular old 2004,2005,or 2006 SR5 V6? It seems like every post is about someones V6/V8 SE or V6/V8 Limited. I am just wondering if anyone else out there is like me with the 2005 V6/V8 SR5?

Welcome to the Toyota and 4Runner family. You're like my polar opposite. I've only ever owned and driven japanese cars with the big majority being Toyotas.

I think a lot of people go with the Sport because for the amount to "upgrade" you get a lot of nice little features. Under all those options, they are all the same 4Runner so no love lost on any of the models.

I was just wondering, does anybody on here have just a regular old 2004,2005,or 2006 SR5 V6?...

Old 2004??? Not old at all.
Yeah, not too many of us SR5's but we're out there. Yours even has some upgrades. Mine is absolutely bare bones (plus the front bumper trim for looks.) It still has better features for the $ value than a domestic. Ordered mine off the boat so didn't even get the roof rack.
That left more money for mods. You'll get the bug soon if you keep searching around here.

05 SR5 V8 4Wd here. I also feel like I am in the minority, but I bought my 4runner almost 1 year ago and I have not looked back on my SR5. 4WD's are not too common in So. Cal.

Welcome to the world of 4runner. I too have an 04 SR5 V6, natural white. I got leather installed, but thats the only mod i have. i'm looking to put an exhaust system on, prbably just custom piping with a 2 chamber Flow. Anyways, keep posting everything you do to your Runner, that way i will know what to do. haha. Later
