Hello! New to the forum!

I posted in the new members section with some questions so I guess I should post them here too...

Thank in advance for all info and advice!

1. I have the V8 with 4X4 so I have the "clunk" What is the Lexus prop shaft? Does this make it go away?
2. My steering wheel...the left side of it is sticking out further than the right. Is this normal?
3. The clock where is says the MPG, rang, and all the aircon info, it only lights up half of the display. Does anyone know where I can get one cheep?
4. I need a new dash as its split in a couple of different places. Same question as the las one.
5. My airbag light comes on every now and then. When someone is in the front passenger seat the indicator that says if its on or off sometimes says off and thats when the light comes on. Other times someone will sit there and the indicator says passenger airbag on and I won't get the airbag light in the gauge cluster. Anyone know what the problem is?
6. I did not get a owners guide. Can someone tell me what maintenance I need to do to catch it up to 110,000 miles. I very OCD about the maint. On my vehicles. The front timing cover says that the belt was R&R'ed at 85,000 miles.
7. My center locking differential does not turn on nor does the light come up on the dash...any ideas?

8. Any other cool or useful info I should know about the T4R?

Thanks again!

2 that's worrisome
3 easy fix, tiny bulbs available from the dealer or use better upgrades (many DIY posts about it on this forum)
5 may be normal for light weight child in that seat, sounds like something needs adjustment
6 owner's and repair manuals available for free download from links on this forum
8 spark plugs are easy to change and if not done yet should be on your to do list
your tiny front side marker lights are probably burned out if not changed by now (check your rear lic plate lights too, same bulb family) may as well change out the rear red tail/brake lights now as well.

Thanks for the heads up! I'll be sure to check those things out. The stearing wheel thing...I'm going to try to sit in another T4R and see if it's the same.

#2. if you are referring to the airbag not sitting flush, you can adjust it by loosening the torx screws on either side of the air bag assembly and re-tightening them. I suggest you disconnect the battery and let it sit for a bit to help prevent an accidental airbag discharge. I've only done this in my limited 04, but it should be the same if you have the steering wheel controls or not. also w/ re: to #5, might be worth it to pull out the airbag and visually inspect it to make sure someone hasn't tampered with it which would explain the skewed installation.

The steering wheel "toe-out" is normal.

Taking a look in through the passenger window makes it easy to see.

Thanks for all the replies! Nice to know these things are just normal. I will end up taking the truck to the dealer to get the airbag light looked at. I'm hoping they just me the code so I can fix it myself.

Does anyone know about the clunk in the v8's 4x4 system...or the Lexus prop shaft mod?

Any ideas about the center diff lock not working?

I found a online copy of all the owners man. I will start catching it back up on the maintenance.

One last thing, where does everyone get factory Toyota parts? I need a new dash because it is split the entire length of the dash.
