2005 Hood w/ Scoop on a 2006 Limited?

I've been looking for a 2006 hood w/ scoop to put on my 2006 Limited for a long time with zero luck. I just found a 2005 hood w/ scoop but can't find whether it will work on my 2006 or not.

short answer yes. long answer... the grille and headlights are different. the headlight trim is also different. it will technically fit but you'll have fitment issues.

Someone correct me if wrong, the actual hood will work, you will need to swap your limited grill over to the 05 hood. That should be the only change needed!

Sounds like I should pass on the 05 hood. Anyone know a good source for a 2006 hood w/scoop (besides craigslist and car-part.com)?

The 05 will fit, just have to put your grill on it. I think its like 8 bolts, and should take about 10 min tops. Everything else will line up.

haha, I guess I should have said it this way! I thought my way was clear enough. I'm not really sure how my statement would be taken as not going to work. In reality you could skip a few bolts and be good as well. With even less time. lol

Lets try another way. Its almost like changing shoe laces. it will work with a few minutes of effort.
