All,
My 2005 4runner Sport Edition 4x4 with 104,XXX miles has been making a high pitched noise that appears to be coming from the rear of the vehicle.
The noise happens at low speeds, in both drive and reverse. It appears to be worse when turning. Once I get above 10mph or so it appears to go away.
Its definitely mechanical ( not electronic ), it does not vary with speed aside from going away above 10mph. Its also not constant, and appears to happen after the vehicle has been sitting for a few hours, although sometimes still makes the noise after sitting just for an hour.
Thoughts?
