This would be a pretty memorable way to get your 4runner! I was telling one friend about it and two seconds later there was a tiny add for it on ESPN......crazy timing. Somebody buy this and tell us all how much fun it was!

Quick note, it's not a V8 and it takes something like over 100 days to be shipped to you.

I know the people behind this auction....the people who started the "V Foundation". The V Foundation is an excellent organization and 100% of the $ goes towards cancer research. Pretty good feeling knowing you bought a 4runner and contributed a good amount to cancer research....along with all the other benefits.

One of my relatives recently bought a 2004 Camry in a live auction. It was also a charity event for a cancer foundation, I'm not sure which one. Anyway, he ended up winning an 04 Camry LE for $14k that he got to special-order. Toyota let him equip the car with anything he wanted up to $20k their cost, not MSRP. The car ended up having an MSRP of around $25k. It looks like the auction for the 4Runner is a bit different though.

I think it's great that Toyota donates their cars for these events, it's for a great cause.
