2006 4 Runner

I have been a member for a while but had trouble logging in. Anyways I thought the 2006 4 runner came out in the U.S. in September A post further down the board said July 17th is that right? Also from past history do you guys think that the 4 runner will look exactly like the surf in 06 or are there diff. between the 05 runner and surf and previous models your input is appreciated

I don't know but I can't wait. It's like Christmas in July and I am not even going to be getting a new one...

What changes are you hoping or looking for? What vehicle are you replacing?

A bunch of minor changes were done in the 3rd generation after 4 years in 1999. My guess is there will be some changes in 2006 also. I am also betting they will change the dash and instrument panel.

2003-2006 is only 3 years.

I wonder if they will add memory seats to Limited model?? More and more Toyotas are getting this. Toyota Avalon Ltd. has it.

2003-2006 is only 3 years.

I see other members have replied for me. I looked at the history of the 4Runner. In 96 we got a 3rd generation and in 99 there was a upgrade with quite a few changes. That is 4 model years. So I am thinking we may get a upgrade, maybe different bumpers like in 99, maybe something different.

As far as being just 3 years instead of 4, a car salesman feels a 2002 model is 4 years old not three.

Well, there are a number of new goodies seen in that refreshened HiLux Surf thread.. I wonder how many of those (if any???) will carry over across the ocean to us/?:awais:
