2006 4runner V8 130k - Time for front end rebuild?

Vehicle was purchased at 99k, 3 years ago. An ICON stage 2 lift was installed ( Coil overs, shocks, and tubular uppers.) CV boots were replaced with factory's and besides tires, alignment, steering u- joint, and water pump/ timing belt that is all ive done besides oil changes.

Its a rust free Arizona vehicle and I have talked myself into and out of doing a front end rebuild for piece for mind including, TRE's (inner and outer), Lower control arms (Bushings/ball joint). and wheel bearings.

The boots on the components are dry but nothing looks cracked or loose. Is this a normal procedure for this kind of miles?

Hard to say, I think a lot of it comes down to its past use... but if it aint broke, don't fix it.

I have over 200k on mine and I don't think the front end has had any major re-work done to it aside from my lift and new calipers.

I think CVs got changed out at one point, but my bearings seem fine even with the miles.

The if it aint broke, don't fix it. is why I have semi talked myself out of fixing it. The truck has not been abused or wheeled hard, mostly forest roads. But it does make a 3000 mile trip to the northern US every year and it become much more difficult to fix when out there. But at the same time im not in the business of spending unnecessary money.

I think you're right. Mine is at 190K and although I'm thinking about reworking some of it, it's mostly the bushings that are worn, and I don't feel like it is ready for any kind of catastrophic failure.
