I bought my first 4Runner last week. It's 2006 V6 4WD Limited in grey and bone stock except for a Bull Bar. This is my first Toyota vehicle and I'm very happy with it. The only SUV I've owned previously was a 1995 Ford Explorer which was nice, but not nearly as refined as the 4R.
The reason I wanted a 4Runner is I have a rental business which requires me to tow a 2200 lb enclosed trailer which my car was balked at moving. I hooked up the trailer last night and it's night and day difference versus towing with the car. I had also considered a V6 RAV4, but I think I made the right decision with this truck.
Not planning to mod too much right away, but I did get the Weathertech Digitalfit mats and some Alpine component speakers for starters. Maybe a CAI in the future for the extra growl.
