You will also need an adapter (or splice) new connectors on for the lows. You'll also need to splice for the marker/turn signals. (room for creativeity here as you already have signals in the lower bumper)

But yes, super simple straight forward swap. One of my favorite mods-to-date. In retrospect, I wish I had done a retro instead of swapping these on. Could've gotten far superior projectors for about the same price. Projector quality isn't terrible, but nothing to write home about either....

lol, be easier on yourself bruh. I've liked the write-ups you've done. Easy to follow with excellent use of picturesWoohoo Im famous!
Lol JK :rockthrow:
But in all seriousness, it is a relatively easy swap that you can easily do on a Saturday. It is definitely one of my favorite mods to date and I have absolutely no ragrets. Not even a single letter. :bash: lol
If you have any questions, feel free to PM me or post here and tag me (so I don't miss it) and I'll gladly help with what I can!
Excellent... just the type of stuff I wanted to see.
The electrical part should be no problem for me... all that is in my comfort zone. Ill give your build thread a through reading before I ask any questions.
Did you actually source an OEM projector housing or did you get an aftermarket OEM style replacement like the TYC branded stuff from RockAuto?

Yes. That's it for fit. You'll have to figure out the connectors though. If you search there's threads on it. I did this with my 04, and I did HID lights so didn't need to worry about 9006/h11 swap. Also there's other lights on the sides of the housings which you'll need a different harness for. I had to build my own harness with clips salvaged from old corollas, I think.
Could you elaborate on this? Can I just order a h11 HID kit and slap the bulbs in and connect the stock harness to the ballast for power?
Yes. But you'll need a 9006 connector. The hid kit needs h11 bulbs, and the HID kit will have a harness that connects to your battery and the car's light harness. The harness that connects to your car needs to be 9006. I just asked for a 9006 blank connector and then swapped the h11 connector for the 9006 by pulling out the metal pins and seating them in the 9006 connector. Is that confusing?
And the extra harness is if you want the parking lights and turn signals to work.
I'll keep my current 03-05 DRL's and turn signals. I just want the headlights and HID's in the bulb. Got it, so order h11 HID Kit, and a 9006 to h11 connector.
Thanks!
Just to jump in real quick. If you want to keep the old turn signals and such, I would still pick up the harness. I wouldn't just leave those holes in the headlight housing for the bulbs open to the elements unless you want a lot of crap in them lol. The harness has the typical O-Rings on the plugs that will keep this out, so even if you don't use them, I'd still get one.
