Anybody have any experience with the new tubular design roof rack on the 2006 Sport. I'd like to remove the crossbars. I know in theory, the back caps come off then you slide out the bars but how to get the back caps off without damaging them is the question. Just forward of the caps on the inside of the long tube there is a hole and appears to have a Torx nut in there. Do you pop the caps then loosen the bolt or vice versa. I'm sure service department could show me but you guys may be faster. I remember seeing my car on the lot before I bought it and the caps were popped up as they were prepping the vehicle and putting on the crossbars. Wished I had looked at it more closely then.
