2006 T4R w/ Xenondepot HID's

HID Questions

Hi all, another noob question. Just picked up a new 07 T4R SPort. I am interested in upgrading the lighting and like what you all have done. I went to Xenon Depot and was wondering if you were using the Xtreme Conversion ro the Xenon Depot conversion. and what is the difference?

I see one is 6500k versus 6000k, but there is a price diff as well. Any help would be great!!!!!

6000k is whiter/brighter than 6500k

basically the closer you are to 4300k the more white it is, as you get higher it turns bluish and for the show cars purple

I forgot where I got my kit from but they were around $200 +s/h and work fine, pretty darn bright but I wish I had a xenon depot 4300 kit to compare with

Anyone from Staten Island with a XD 4300K kit and wanna do a comparison PM me

Oh & btw since xtreme is cheaper than the xenon depot (the one they put their name on ) brand I would guess they are inferior

If you wanna spend $50 total for a close to HID brightness type of bulb check out HIR bulbs, I believe they are toshiba branded & one seller on fleabay provides them for $25 per bulb until august

I bought a set for the fogs but dont use em b/c I want really yellow fogs ( too $$ on xenon depot)

XenonDepot HID conversion kit uses all Philips components--ballasts, igniters and burners. Philips makes some of the best, if not the best HID components.

Xtreme HID conversion kit uses Asian made components, thus the price is lower. Essentially, Xtreme is a more affordable HID solution with good quality components

Hey all. Thanks for your help. I just got mine on Friday, and am looking at what I will do first. I have the all weather mats already (woo hoo!) and am definitely getting te Wet Okole's for this as I do Triathlons and Xterra Tri's and will get the OEM seats filthy.
Looking to do the HID upgrade, tint the front windows for now. I will drive the thing a while and see what I think!
Really looking forward to helping on the forum. I have made all sorts of enat things for previsou cars too!
