2006 TRD Sport wheels w/ 265 BFG KO's

For sale is a complete set of 2006 TRD Sport Wheels and BFG KO ATs. Size is 265/70-17. The tires don't have any holes, plugs or patches. Wheels are in great shape. There are some slight blemishes, but no curb rash or scuffs. There are no TPMS sensors that I'm aware of. Lug nuts are also included. I'm located in Lancaster, Ca 93536. I'm willing to drive up to 1 hr to complete the transaction. 400.00.

Yeah, I'd consider it. The tires measure between 10-11 32nds. New they are 16/32. The tires are worn pretty even, there is some slight "rounding" on the inner edge. If I separated them I'd like to get 350 for the tires only. I also wouldn't drive as far since I'd have to make two transactions now. Thanks.
 
How many miles do you think have put on them?
And have they seen much off roading?

Also, would you be willing to drive 30ish minutes? I am in LA and that would be roughly half way
 
I couldn't tell you the exact mileage. I had them on a 97 4runner for about 2K. They've seen the desert about 5 times. I use this vehicle to take pictures so there's no hard wheelin on them.

I might drive that far, but don't know when I could do it. I have to stay home tomorrow waiting for an appointment. And Sat I'm leaving around noon for a desert race in Lucerne Valley.

How firm are you on $350? Would you take $300?

I ask b/c I got my NTG's for $500 new and am also slightly hesitant to get BFG's since I hear they are pretty loud on the road
 
I'll let you know. They're posted on 3 other boards as of today. So If I don't get any response I might lower the price. For 300 I won't drive anywhere.
I think their quiet but everyones different. These tires will cost you 700-800 new so theres not really a comparison to the NTG.

Yeah I know, I just ask b/c if it was only $150 more to get a brand new pair of NTG's OTD I might be tempted not to go down the used tired road.

Let me know what you think though :biggrin2: my tires are starting to get too torn up by rocks and such
 
If I can find a buyer for the tires, I'll sell you the wheels for 200. I don't know what shipping would cost, but you would have to cover that. My zip is 93536 and you could safely assume the weight wouldn't be over 25lbs / box. Totaling 4 boxes.

I'd also trade this tire/wheel set for a 265/75/16 BFG, Toyo, or Yokohama AT tire. Preferably in slightly better condition since the wheels are included.
 
Blair, also consider that the BFG's have a poor hydroplaning resistance compared to Nitto's. It would be a trade off. More aggressive tread for offroading, for more road noise, and less wet traction. Not to mention you would be flicking rocks up onto me like crazy on our trips haha. Remember Chris's BFG's?

Their still available. I'll take 300 if you pick them up from my house. Come take a look at them, if you want to purchase them we can go get them dismounted. I'll even take you for a test drive to show you how much noise they make. There's two tire places within 1 mile of my house.

Okay, so for $300 I would have to drive all the way out there?

Also, I just want to check. The tread depth measures around 10-11/32nds? You said you had them on your runner for 2kish miles so something doesnt quite add up, did you buy them new or used?

Yeah I wouldn't do any driving.

I can try and take some more detailed pictures of the tread for you. I don't want you to drive here and think your getting something different.

At this point I'm not trying to get rid of the tires. If someone wants to buy them I'll sell them. But I'm not going to just give them away since new tires for my 16" wheels are so expensive.

Sorry, I did buy them used. I assumed the picture of them on a 1997 4runner would have answered that. I apologize for any confusion.
