2007 JBL Sound Installing Sat Radio Option

Was wondering if anybody has experience installing Sat radio when it did not come with it? I have the JBL Synthesis system and a button that says sat right on it. Is it a matter of an antenna and an adapter? Any insight or help would be appreciated.

if i rember correctly it goes behind the dash as a set up and is hooked into a connector in the back of the radio and you have to run the anttena

You'll need one of these:

You may also need a JBL-specific adapter for the SCC1. I have a Sony head unit and I needed to purchase an adapter that goes between the SCC1 and the stereo.

This package looks expensive but it claims to connect satellite-ready Toyota stereos to Sirius:

I think you could buy the SCC1 and the Toyota wiring harness for less than the $190 they're asking for the set up above.
