2007 tail lights on 2004?

would the 2007 LED tail lights fit directly where the stock 2004 ones were? or would some modifications be needed?

Should be a direct swap, fit and wire harness.
Plug N Play. I have done it on my 05’ from 08’ lights.

If memory serves, it's a ten mm socket and about ten minutes of your time.

As long as you get a genuine set out of a 4Runner, not aftermarket ones from ebay/amazon.
They will be a direct fit and your existing wire harness will just plug into the new ones.

They look like stock 06’-09’ lights to me.

I really hate to be THAT guy. But this subject, both headlights and taillights has been covered on this forum extensively.

A simple search will yield multiple threads about them and what works, what doesn’t, what mods are needed, if any, etc.

Search first, then post questions if you can’t find the answer.
