2008 4 Runner

My wife just purchased a new 2008 4 Runner Monday night. We went to put a license plate with a picture of our dog on the front and the holes are spread apart to far for us to put it on. Has anyonelse run into this problem???? If you did; what did you do to put your plates on the front of your 4 Runner??? I returned to the dealeer the next and asked them and they didn't even know what to do???!!!! Thanks for your help. TEH

Did you try putting it on the rear and seeing if the holes are too big there as well? What about using the plates from another one of your vehicle and seeing if they fit. If its not a State issued license plate, it might not be to regulation size...

Thanks for he advice. But I already checked this out. They are just to far apart on the front end. The salesman to the dealership even asked one of the service guys. They said there should be some kind of adapter. But where?? The salesman told me he wqas going to check with Toyota and see what they say about it.

Found it. Had to pock holes in the dimples. But I got it. Thanks Guys!!!
