I want to upgrade the bulbs in my foglights when replace the housings. Specs call for a 9005 bulb. research shows the 9005 and the HB4 to be interchangeable. Other sources show the 9006/HB4 to be a Hi/Low headlight bulb.
I've wired the foglights to come as Daytime running lights when the key is in the run position and still retain manual control using the light switch.
The question is this. I'm using the foglights as Daytime running lights and enhanced low beam Head lights. Has anyone else upgraded the foglights using 9005/HB4 LED bulbs and run into any issues. I can foresee an issue if the wiring isn't correct. One of three scenarios, 1>Everything works, fine, 2>nothing works, 3>or I have a low beam or hi beam depending on the default wiring setup.
Another question. I've upgrade the Headlights to LED H11 low beams and 9005 Hi beams. The hi beams are awesome. Makes the road look like daytime. The low beams are anemic. Thus the reason I'm using the foglights as both daytime running lights and enhanced low beam headlights. Any one know if this is a result of headlight projector design or maybe defective LEDs.
Any info would be helpful.
