Hi all
Just acquired
Drives like new except for some floatiness, I assume at this mileage the shocks are gone so I'll be looking into that.
I tell folks what I paid for it and then the mileage and everybody looks at me weird, like why would I buy such a HIGH mileage vehicle for so much. Then they see it and go "oh, it looks brand new".
So far I've discovered a grand total of one other problem with the car - a burned out lightbulb
A/C display backlight is dead.
Hoping it will run forever. I'll change the oil tomorrow and then look into everything else. I read that the trans fluid is not supposed to be changed but I might do that, will need to check the diff fluids as well. Sadly I got no maintenance history for the car so I might just do everything to be safe.
Any advice appreciated!

I had one Toyota before, a 95 Camry, bought at 188K, sold 50K later with almost zero maintenance, and I believe is still driven. Had (still have) one 4x4 before, a 2001 Blazer with 260K... bought as a winter beater but the trans died 5K later and it's just not worth fixing (do NOT ask about the nightmares I had with that thing's fuel pump). Probably going to a junkyard soon unless somebody buys it for parts.
