Hey guys I've been dinking around on the site learning a bunch of cool things, seeing some things i should do for my car :surfer: But over the past few months I've noticed this interesting noise that i can't put my finger on....Its like a random knock that occurs randomly. Ive a car with a rod knocking so i know its not that. it sounds like its coming from inside the crank case and like i said its random and not consistent with any speed but kinda lingers around 2000rpm range....any ideas? something to do with the connecting rod? the car is knocking on 200,000 miles its at 196000 right now. its a 99 4 cylinder auto
