Hi CaliraisedLED. Installed your ditch brackets yesterday and am not quite happy how far away it sits and obstructs the view from within the driving position. Its a minor thing but do you have a replacement bracket where the mouting point for the light is farther out to the side and perhaps either swept back and lower? As it is right now it sits almost directly over the lip of the hood and is not far back enough compared to every other brand out there.

Don't get me wrong. The brackets themselves are really well made and I love the little ports for us to attach zip ties for easy cable management. But it just seems like this bracket was intended for the vehicle from your first post and not tailored to our 5th gens.

In the last picture picture from the first post whichever vehicle that is on has the right placement. but that same bracket on our 5th gens immediately feels out of place.

I think the best design change you guys can do to make this product better is to bend the top section back towards the windshield instead of forward. That combined with a steeper angle tilt to the side will make a major difference. Basically the closer to the A pillar the better.

for now I will fabricate a plate to get the positioning right. Hopefully you guys will make revisions to your product to make it better.

These are great first additional lighting. I would recommend our 27w side projecting pods. They give a great overall lighting on the sides and front. Heres a picture of the output (no headlights). You go to the ditch brackets and in the option bar you select your pods, then add an oem wiring harness. Total should be 135

I have seen a lot of requests to see pictures from the inside to judge glare from the hood. But I still have not seen any pictures from the inside.

Does anyone have pictures of this setup from the inside?

Also, does anyone have pictures of the lights mounted from the top looking down and from the side where the bracket and plastic meet?

Can this be seen from inside the car? The a pillar is so big in this truck that I have almost hit someone that has been walking by. If it adds to the thickness I’d have gonpass

To be a 100% honest I have never seen anyone who has Ditch lights complain about them blocking there view or anything.

I had the brackets installed and in my opinion it doesn't block the view all that much, or at least it isn't noticeable enough that it will alter my driving.
