I am from New England and am currently working with a local dealer on a Trail edition. My dealer is saying 3 to 5 weeks. They only had a one Limited and one SR5 on the lot. Has anyone had a similar experience on quoted delivery lead time?

Thanks

Where are you in NE?

same here in nyc, called about 30 dealers in the tri-state area in the last 2 weeks, only limiteds and sr5's (with no leather).

I just put deposit down on a Blizzard Pearl Limited 2WD w/ NAV. Due to arrive at port Dec 19. Hoping for a pre XMAS delivery. Can't wait!I'm in Mississippi

EDIT: Forgot to add I'm in Mississippi - Gulf States Toyota distributor.

Northern CT. I am hearing that NE toyos are at the Port of Newark NJ right now.

I am in Eastern MA, mine was built in Newark. Seem to be a lot of Limited's and non-leather SR5's around (like was previously said). I guess I got lucky with my leather SR5 on the lot :)

I went to a dealer who had a SR5 and a Limited on the lot, decided i wanted to buy and told them the options I was interested in, 20 minutes of having a free hotdog and soda later they had sourced the car I wanted from another dealer about 100 miles away, drove it home two days after signing the papers.
(by the way just broke 100 miles, and ive had the sucker for like 3 weeks, I will finally get some pictures up in the next day or two)

getting pretty sick of waiting, went to acura to look at the mdx's. i can get a better equipped leftover 2009 mdx for about the same price as a fully loaded sr5, and the interior on the mdx is so much nicer. i understand its a totally different type of vehicle, but i probably wont ever go offroading or tow things. but the upside of getting a toyota is probably never having a honda tranny issue. any thoughts and opinions?

3-5 weeks doesn't sound too bad to me. i live in maine.
be sure to post up your results when you get it; wait time, options, price. would love to know what you pay out the door.
good luck!

Thanks for all your perspective. I guess thats what I get for wanting a 2010 truck in 2009Got a call today from dealer to let me know that it will be in on Dec29th. Hope that sticks. My first 4Runner was a 95, then a used 96 for the x. Those two experinces make me not hesitate to own one again. Reliability and capability are all there. Its also easier to work on a well thought out design. I had an old CJ-7 that was harder to wrench, than the runner. The 5th gens have gotten me pretty excited about owning a 4Runner again. Spent a good amount of time researching price and options. There is only really two main ones on the trail, DKS and the wiz bag navi. Never owned a truck with leather, its nice in an Audi, but I am not going to start now. I will let you guys know how it plays out. Thanks.

3 to 5 weeks ain't isht. I was the first person in the US to buy a Trail Edition back in the beginning of October and I only pick mine up this Friday.

Trust me. You'll survive the wait.
