Online registration is now closed, but you can still show up and go on some of the SUV trips. Or just do what I do since no way am I set up to do Fordyce trail....yet. Come out, look at the all the pretty and not so pretty wheelers. Chat with the vendors, drivers etc. Enjoy the beautiful High Sierra's for a simple day trip if you live in CA. If you are there at night....stop by the bar run by the off road club I'm a member of. Yet again, Capital City Mountain Goats invites all to belly up to the bar. Try some of our famous Goats Milk (secret recipe and boy oh boy is it yummy). I'm hoping I'll be there this Sat. helping to set up the bar as well as next Sat. night as your friendly barista! Well, a Toyota gal has to be there to represent! Come stop by and say howdy!

Last years bar at Cisco Grove: (This was Thursday night where we were only allowed to serve wine & beer, water & soda's. No hard alcohol. And then of course the mother of all downpours happened.)

What's the cost to come up for a day?

No cost to come in and look at all the rigs, industry specific vendors etc. The cost is to do one of the runs, and they are expensive. Go to the Cal4wheel website and they have the costs there.

This past Sat. set up the bar with a few club members. It's a good 20 miles outside of Truckee and then another 5 miles out the road and another 7 miles down the dirt road to Meadow Lake. Felt bad for the big rig driver delivering the 40+ port-a-poties!

I will be there next Sat. Just ask for the Mountain Goats bar, actually we are the only alcohol serving full bar there, and look ask for me. It's going to be great. I'm hoping BFG will be there and I can get my last 2 33's for a great price. Stop by and say howdy! Look for Ruffian. I think she'll be parked right next to the bar.
