2010 Master Cylinder Replaced

Hey folks,

Just curious if anyone other 2010 owners have had to get their master cylinder replaced. Just got mine replaced yesterday...it failed last weekend, low brake pressure and had to floor it to get the 4runner to stop. I had 96K miles on it. Anyone else?

More than a few 4th gen's did. Not sure what (if any) differences there are between the 4th and 5th gen units.

Mostly from what I have seen, just a different ECU part number; the units on the 5th Gen 4Runners (and '10+ Tacomas and FJ Cruisers) appear to be the '06+ units that were used in the 4th gens.

I wouldn't be surprised if we started seeing them start to fail a little like the 4th gens as the years get on.
