Hello, sorry if this has been a common topic before, but I've searched and haven't found what I needed. I'm missing one of the tiedowns for my 2010 Trail edition crossbar. They're called tiedown loops apparently, but I cannot find them or the part number. If anybody knows where to get them at, or if you have one you would like to sell or trade, or if you know the correct part number please let me know!

Just a heads up. If you do much searching you'll find some sites say the PT278-89100 is for "NON-Trail edition" 4Runners and the Pt278-89102 is "Trail Edition Only"
They both fit exactly the same, BUT the PT278-89100 is Silver and the Pt278-89102 is Black.
I just had a long conversation with my local parts guy about this. I was going to order a set and ran into the part number question. I hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. I have been doing a lot of searching and I've seen different sites say a bunch different things so who knows. I did order a set of 89102, hoping to get the mounting hardware but it was only the bars, no hardware included. I brought the tiedown loop into my dealer and even he couldn't figure it out. So now I go to the boards!

you're looking for one of the bolts that fastens the crossbar to the roof rails, correct? i think you may be SOL bc those bolts are actually part of the roof rails, not the crossbars.
the mini tie-down set for the 10-13 Trail roof rack uses similar fasteners, but i'm not certain if they're the exact same thread/pitch so they may not work: part #PT27889100TD
it hasn't come up a lot, but i vaguely recall someone losing one a long time ago and having a hard time replacing. ended up getting a similar fastener from the hardware store but then had to use a wrench, of course.

OP has 10-13 Trail roof rack, which is different.
I too am searching for this part for my '12 TE...no luck with my local parts department. Ordered on but it looked like SR5 or limited part (without tie down) and did not fit. Parts department is going to contact Toyota and get back to me.

Bump- anybody have a lead on tracking down this specific 10-13 Trail only tie down? Looking for one... apparently one of mine was quite loose and the car wash at Costco must've forced it off

Yes, this rack is specific to trail editions from 10-13.

as far as i know, buying that fastener alone is a no go; it's part of the roof rail assembly, under a single part number.

Bringing this back to life... I noticed a tie down screw is missing from my rack. I saw the parts list and if you buy the cross bars you'll be able to get the tie downs. I can't imagine Toyota selling accessory cross bar without any hardware. The trial rack should not have the tie downs, the crossbars only.
