2010+ TRD Supercharger

I could see that, replacing the connecting rods wouldn't be a HUGE deal, but it'd change from being a "bolt on" installation to actual engine surgery.

On GR family engines, swapping con rods would require full engine removal. Then you'd be removing the head covers, oil pans 1 & 2, timing chain cover, and rear retainer. That is a biiiiiiig job.

You gotta pull the crank to get the pistons out. To get the crank out, you have to pull the timing chain cover. To get the timing chain cover off, you have to pull the oil pan 1 and valve covers.

Ah yeah forgot about them pesky timing chain motors and their integral timing chain covers! But yeah, it's not a simple job to pop connecting rods off.

So going to modified bolt on for increased house power via turbo charge or ecm/ecu with super charger. Doesn't matter what you do. Once my motor goes,or win the lottery, I would have zero issues modifying the engine to get increased power.....guess I should have been more clear, sorry :(
