2011-2012 national championship thoughts?

I think it's bullpucky that we again have a team playing in the title game that didn't even win it's own conference.
The BCS is meaningless, and I'm done watching college ball (my own team or anybody elses) until we get a playoff.

I don't think Alabama deserves another shot. They got LSU at home late in the season and didn't handle their business.
Let's say Alabama wins? Does that mean they're the better team? Absolutely not. They'll both be 1-1 vs each other. You'd really need at least a 3rd game to decide who is really better.
I think Oklahoma State deserved a shot.

Oklahoma State controlled their fate and slept on a weak team and got beat and that's the sole reason they are not representing and it's not 'Bama's fault how the system works and I don't consider a 6-3 win by LSU deciding anything.
That first game was poorly played on both sides so the best team will be decided who plays better that day and both teams are pretty well matched up so the winner is the best team period.
I'm not a fan of either just an unbiased opinion.

I might watch the game, but honestly I just want some sort of a playoff system. This one sucks for everyone but the BCS and those who profit from it.
6 to 8 teams. Two potential added games. Done.
Until then, college hoops and NHL own my attention (NBA can suck it too since they let my Sonics go). March Madness and playoff hockey are the greatest.
Oh and NFL. My 5-7 Hawks still have a CHANCE.
