2011 4R Wheel size change

I notice that Wheel size Change on all 2011 trim line. SR5 wheel now only 16" instead of 17", TE get 17" wheel and LT get 18". What the deal ?

That doesn't match anything else on the 4Runner specs section. I think it's a typo or leftovers from the 2009 page.

Somethings odd. It also shows headset DVD players on that page but not anywhere else on the spec sheet. I'm thinking someone is half done with their website update.

Looks like that is now an accessory you can add. The accessory wheels are 17" as well, so those are probably legit, regardless of the fact the picture shows a 5 lug. I'd say someone made a mistake when they were rendering the picture. I really wish they'd bring back a set of those FJ TT wheels in a 17" in black. I'd be all over those on my SR5.

Hood protector and running boards are shown as available in my area. Also actually show the bluelogic bluetooth and how it fills one of the empty voids on the IP.

Even if that wheel is available, I can assure you that it won't be a 5-lug wheel. There's no way Toyota is going to install different hubs in the 4Runner. If they go to 5-lug hubs, it will be across the entire 4Runner line....but my guess is that they'll keep the 6-lug hubs for all 4Runners since they started the 5th gen that way.

+1. Toyota trucks have had 6 lugs as far back as i can remember. don't see them going to 5, ever.

Look at the new Tundras

Yeah, new Tundras are 5 lug. Not sure about the Tacomas.

I love the 17" accessory wheels.

Our dealer said that headrests DVD players with integral PS2 (or PS3 can't remember) is already available. I will be getting that next year!

Makes sense. 2011 LE does not have a color keyed grill.

Look at the new Tundras

I realize the Tundra went to a 5-lug hub. And I wondered if the 5th gen 4Runner would also be 5 lugs, but since it's not, I highly doubt Toyota would change it now. Maybe the next generation will be 5-lug.
