My 2011 Limited OEM headlight housings are getting to the point polishing isn't doing anything. The plastic has yellowed all the way through. I see OEM housing are $240 each, TYC which seems like a decent aftermarket product is $120 each. Any other options out there for a 2011?

there are some fairly expensive aftermarket headlight housing for the og 4runners. morimoto and alpharex make them. but they will be much more expensive. I would do one of two things: replace with OEM (my choice) or upgrade and spend the $$$. the cheaper aftermarket housings will get you what you pay for, I would not expect long term reliability

When comparing headlight housings, just read through the issues people mention and you'll probably be able to avoid most with a little preventative maintenance before installing.

Example: I just ordered some cheap AUTOSAVER88 headlights off Amazon for $156. They rate low (3.5 out of 5) but since this is for a retrofit, I'll be adding new butyl sealing tape and Morimoto breathers which should solve the majority of issues. If not doing a retrofit then I'd just run some silicone around the edges and replace the breathers with a couple from Morimoto or TRS for $9 which is still cheaper.
