2012 Limited XREAS and spacers?

I recently purchased my first 4Runner and love it! The previous owner gave me the factory wheels, wrangler 285's, along with the XD rims with 265's. He installed a 1.25-1.5 inch spacer on the front to accomadate for the 285's. So the front is now raised 2-3 inches and is higher then the back and I would like it to be level if not slightly higher in the back. I am looking for any feedback or recommendations on a back spacer or lift of any kind to level the truck out and give it the look I prefer. I am skeptical of spacers and I don't have much knowledge on lifts, spacers, or the xreas. I found a part form Toytech FJRS-15. What are your guys thoughts, comments, concerns.

Do you intend to take it offroad or mostly just pavement? Xreas means you can only do spacers without replacing the whole system (best option if you can handle the cost and want to take it off road)

Usage would really dictate options but even then cost might be a factor as well.

Simplest option is lower spacer in the front probably. But others might have more info based on other details.

No intentions to off road but would like to know I can go through anything. Just want the best performance that has a nice aggressive look. I plan to put 285's back on and want the back level or slightly higher then front without taking off XREAS and costing a fortune.

your only option with all that in mind is a spacer in the back

Can't really tell how much higher the front is than the rear. I think you have two options.

1. rear spacer
2. rear air bags

I think there are two air bag manufacturers, air lift and firestone. I have used air lift in one vehicle before and worked OK but next time I will try the firestones. They appear to be a little better built. Of course there may be a limit to how much you can raise the XREAS with an air bag.

I'd say the heck with it and pull the trigger on a toytec boss lift kit I just purchased one was talked outa the spacer kit now granted I never had any lift in front end and still have oem rims and tires now mines an SR5 with 75K on it so shocks were coming so might as well give the cash now
