Need new front struts on my 2007 ,65K miles , V6 , 4WD SR5 . Will struts from a 2013 FJ fit. If not what specific mods or adjustments would have to be made? A little lift would be great , but main reason is front is soft and on the bump stops all the time. Floats down the road , rockin and rollin like a 72 Buick Electra 225 with no shocks.
Info I have on the FJ struts is - Taken off a new 2013 FJ that we installed a lift on. The mark # on the shock is Tokico 48510-35400 , OEM part# 48510-80494. This was on a FJ with the off-road and convenience package.
I don't have the struts in hand to check any dimensions , if bought they would be shipped to me and no return , so have to be sure of fit. Any info is appreciated.
