Some Phantogram, huh? Nice man, looked fun.
No Phantogram in that video. :music:

Drop the trailer at a camping spot on the 550 side, take Black Bear, then Imogene back and pickup the trailer. You definitely don't want to pull a trailer over those switchbacks.Leaving here the 16th or 17th. Trouble is that we are doing a whole round robin around the State - looks like about 1200 miles just in CO alone including most of 'them' trails. There is no way in hell I'm doing switchbacks with it hanging off my butt. It would be a different story if we could have a base camp and then do the trails but we will be moving on to the next location. I'll climb up or down a mountain in the truck without much issue but I would be lying if those drops off don't give me major pause.

Dude, you had a freaking drone with you? That is unquestionably badass.

It was really just a "tactical" version of one of those helicopters they sell at mall kiosks...

Screen shot of Mineral Creek Trail from GoPro video. The right side is down. Quite a way. This is a pretty 'easy' trail because it's pretty wide.

OK, got first video musicized, converted for web and uploaded. I think others will be plain unadorned and basically silent.
This is my second day of trails, and after watching the video many times I see that I could have driven a lot closer to the edge of the switchbacks (looks different from driver's seat) and didn't need to stop so much. Next time will be easier.

Curious - what happens when some knuckleheads block the trail?
Everybody stops to help and make sure they are ok and on their way. Then you make fun of them. Since these guys were French its ok to make fun before helping but otherwise help first.
