I'm crunching some numbers to see if I can still get in on this, but I wanted to make sure I got a few things set up for his education before buying anything else for myself. I'm also hoping to get a little early birthday money since my birthday is the 26th. If I can swing it, I'm in, but gotta take care of priorities first :bump2:

I would be in on this for a front bumper for my '02 Taco.

I got a front bumper and sliders for my 4Runner last time we had a GB and I gotta say, the quality of build and fit/finish is second to none. Its worth the wait.

'95 ~ 2004 Tacoma's are normally referred to as 1st Gens to the best of my knowledge. You guys have the sliders for my truck listed as being for 3rd Gens... ?

I think Mark actually had posted the code on the first page of the previous buy. That way it sparked even more purchases then just the people that put their name on the list. But it is your GB.

A heads up to those ordering any of this stuff: If you can somehow arrange for your stuff to be delivered to a commercial address, you can save a fair bit on the shipping costs. Try to work something out with a local auto body shop or mechanics shop. A helpful dealership even.

When they enter the address into the calculator they know right away if it is commercial or not. (regardless of what is said, there does NOT need to be a forklift available)

Nah, it's everyone's group buy. I just happened to be in communication with Mark when I saw that last thread and noticed people's interest in another one. I figured it's easier to have 1 point of contact so I just started asking the questions posted here and it spitballed from there.

Posting the code on the front page is a great idea. Now that we've met our minimum of 10 pieces. I was planning to contact Mark on Monday to get clarification on the tax questions and see if I could get a code so people could start placing their orders. As soon as I have a response from him I'll get those answers posted here.

Yes it is based on your individual order date.

yes it sexy, I am not a fan of the tire carrier latch or pivot, but still the best looking option I have found.

does anybody know how the Shockworks front bumper attaches to a Gen3 4Runner frame?
would I have to modify my frame (e.g. grind off the endcaps and weld in angle iron to strengthen the frame ends for winching) as is recommended for other manufacturers' front bumpers?

you do not have to pay until the group buy closes and a final bill is created. so we are going on your word when you add your name to the list. If 20 people sign up and only 9 pay after closing the group buy there is no discount. so just be sure if you sign up you can get it. I called them and paid my part in advance.

Best of my knowledge, no welding or modification to frame required but perhaps COB (@ChildrenOfBodom) will chime in as he got a front bumper with the last Shrockworks GB.

The last two did not work this way. We were given a code once we had enough interest then everyone ordered and paid at least half.

As of right now there is no official group buy this is still interest as far as I know.
