2013 Tundra TRD Coils + Bilsteins 5100???

I have read through as many of these threads as possible, but can't find the answer to the following question.

Context - I am trying to lift my 2002 4runner sr5 4wd similar to Speedy's Garage video. I have Bilstein 5100s all around and already purchased the fronts struts (shocks and coils) from a 2013 Toyota Tundra TRD off craiglist. It is a Bilstein 4600 shock, which is way too long, and hopefully a coil I can use on the new Bilstein 5100 shock. All the threads seem to refer to older versions of the Tundra coils (prior to 2006).

Question - Will the 2013 Toyota Tundra TRD coils fit with the Bilstein 5100 on my 2002 T4R? I am not sure why it wouldn't. maybe it is a different diameter? different length?

I can't say for sure that it won't, but you're talking about different generations of tundra, so things are likely to be different.

Most people run the older trd coils. Not to many running that generation coils that I know of.

I just compared the 2013 spring to the monroe strut mount plate. The spring is definitely slightly bigger. It still might fit, but not sure.

I would not do it. Your best bet is to get the coils and springs that are known to work. If not you need to try and let us know if it works.
