2014-2015 dash maintenance?

What do you guys use to clean/protect the dash on your 2014-2015 4runner? I can't tell if the dash is a really hard leather/softex or just plain plastic.

It's definitely plastic. I just use a damp cloth. No chemicals/armor all should be used. And you especially don't want a shiny dash because the reflection on the windshield would limit visibility.

thanks for verifying it. nothing needed to prevent it from getting damaged? for some reason i picture a plastic dash cracking and showing sun damage over time.

Only a dashboard cover will prevent sun damage to your dashboard over time.

I've been using a Swifter that I keep in the glove box. It works pretty good especially over time as some of that new car static dissipates. I use a sunshade while I'm at work too which will show dividends over time. I learned the hard way years ago, No Chemicals on the plastic. Even if it's made for it. Armor All BAD!!!
