Maybe... it looks like the interior is getting some changes. I will be interested to get more information on the other models. I guess I should be happy having just purchased a 2013, as stated I will get a few more years before temptation strikes.

For us Limited owners, looks like they're possibly keeping with our same 20" wheel, but now in BLACK!? This I want to see.

Coil-Over shocks at all 4 corners? Does that make sense or do you think they let the intern type up the press release or am I completely reading that out of context?

Glad they didn't upgrade the transmission or engine. That is IMO one reason why "big 3" branded cars lose value so fast, it's because they keep changing and upgrading their drivetrain.
If the engine or drivetrain woud have been updated, the 2010-2013 4runners would officially already be outdated.

They aren't all black. The wheel is painted black initially but then it goes back through a machining process where you get a nice machined face but black accents. This is the effect:
As far as the Limited, it sounds like it gets the same bumpers but some chrome splashed around and different side skirts (hopefully not the current ones with the new bumper).
The SR5 sounds like it will be what is pictured minus the gray faux skids on the bumper and minus a hood scoop. That would effectively make the TE more of a hardware package instead of interior/exterior and hardware. Interesting to note that the TE and SR5 come standard with cloth (no more waterproof cloth?) and can be upgraded to leather. Leather steering wheel is standard (thank god!). Gray interior is still available apparently.
Super white TE with all black leather interior is what I'd have bought first time around.

For everyone that dislikes the new look, it can definitely be a lot worse! Look at the new Jeep Grand Cherokee. That makes me want to throw up.

That is actually just called the Jeep Cherokee........the name was just as well thought out as the design.....yuck.
Wrong. Unfortunately, the TE and SR5 can be upgraded only to pleather, aka SofTex, while the Limited comes with ventilated real leather seats and memory settings.

The new look may have just killed the chances of getting my wife to trade in her 7 year-old CX-9 for the new 4Runner later this year. She just saw the photos and wasn't thrilled. Maybe we'll just get a 2013.

I do like some of the changes, but that front end just does not do it for me, that alien pic nailed it, lol. I know there was a 'manly' change from the 4th to the 5th, but it was done about as much as one would want or find appealing, this is just pushing it too far, IMO. I'm sure they will still sell, but I have a feeling the sales would be higher if they found a middle ground with the front end.

Since when do the rear, side windows have defrost? I have a 2012 SR5, and mine do not.
My opinion is that I kinda like the updated look. Is it enough for me to trade in my 2012.....no.
