I mean - why not everyone place their credit cards in the camera window and add SSN numbers? Real addresses. Why not? I don't get it either.
Cmon guys - really - what doesn't make sense about the response given? A simple, but intelligent response as to why someone wouldn't want specific personal identifying info sitting in a still frame and viewed by unknown amt/types people. I feel I'm contributing to the dumbness of these threads by adding to it, but how does the response given not make sense? Your car sitting in a parking lot receiving short spot views by people focused on driving and whatever else is much different than being viewed by tons of people seeeing it while in the forum In still frame. Certainly I don't need to pursue this any deeper or describe specific examples of concerns, but all shapes & sizes of trolls, predators, etc., utilize pages/blogs/links like these to seek info on individuals they've targeted leading to multitude of consequences.
What's going on with our brain people? I found it necessary (but troubling) to provide additional explanation when a perfectly logical response to a dumb question was dumbly questioned. Guess I'm hoping u guys asking why someone would blur out license plate info just had a few too many cocktails earlier, or maybe it was a scorcher that day & didn't consume fluids, whatever, but cmon. Perhaps poor attempts at sarcasm... And not that u really questioned this, but that's doubtful.
