2014 4Runner

Sorry if I missed the discussion on the interior somewhere else, but these are the interior changes?

The changed to Softex seats, wonder if they will crease on the bolstering as much. :eyebrows:

Anyone notice the party mode button is blanked out...

If I were to buy a new SUV I would get the "new" 4R. I actually like the new look, with some members doing some photoshop, bigger At tires, different wheels, a mild lift, gobi or baja roof rack, and it would look good and it's a 4R so it'll be very cable. I think Toyota had some bad photographers, they really captured some bad angles, kinda like most of us on here, then a few of us come along with some camera skills and captures the good angles, I mean sometimes the 4R looks like she has a fat a$$ and sometimes she has a strippers a$$

The wife is in the market for a new vehicle. I'd prefer to get another Runner, maybe a Limited. No point in having two Trails.

The only question is what will the Limited and SR5 look like? Or should I try to get a deal on a 13?

Antman- you're famous buddy. Corporate Toyota has been over seeing your build and has decided that in the 2014 "refresh" stage that your "FOG LIGHT MOD" would come standard on all models. However there are not going to compensate you.

Looks like that's US version of Trail. We'll see how Canadian models will be different. So far I like new steering wheel controls - seems to be easier to use.

black wheel arches and gunmetal rims.
also smoothed out the front grill.

according to the press materials, despite the available SofTex (p)leather neither the SR5 nor TE get seat heaters.

I'm not going to dig it out, but there is a picture in the PR of the shifter console, which clearly shows the two seat heater controls.

So, what're we going to call it?

Gen 5.5
Da Pig
Predator (nice Antman , this is my fav)

It also has black leather seats with red stictching on a TE... Not sure if that's an option or going to be standard on the TE now, but I hope so. Loves me a warm seat in the winter!

oh yeah, you're right. weird that the PR doesn't mention that, though; it's pretty exhaustive otherwise. then again, all these images indicate "Prototype shown with options. Production model may vary." so i'm not clear what to make of it.

Absolutely needs the V8

Per previous posts, Toyota already has the v8 with 6spd in the Lexus 460. Almost a drag and drop. They just will not give the 4-Runner crowd the latest technology they deserve.

Nice truck. Like the look.

BUT IT STILL NEEDS A DAMN V8.
