I put "Husky Liners" for a 2013 4runner in my new 2014 trail edition. They fit perfectly. They were from ebay kinda a knock off version but they appear to be high quality and fitment was great. I got the fronts and the one piece rear mat for 125.00 shipped

Agree. When my oem's get dirty, I just take 'em to the spray car wash and blast them clean. I already have spares from T4R's classifieds when they get worn out (or traded in).
I will say that a Husky-liner for the way-back is a must have tho.

The white 2014 is one of the best, the lift and tires really pull off the look.
I believe it is on the far rear passenger side.

Loved my Gen 1, 2, & 3 but the Gen 4 just didn't do it for me. That's when I went for the Tacoma but the 5th Gen was back on track & I really like where they're headed with the 2014's.

I've never leased a vehicle before but am thinking about leasing a 2014 Trail. I know when you're actually buying the car, you can order it from the dealership if they don't have the trim/color you want. Does it work that way for leasing as well? I'm pretty sure my local dealership doesn't have any red Trails.
I finally went to the dealer to see how the 2014 4runner looks like. I would say that if you view it up close, it does look nice, but if you view it from far, say, from 20 feet, it does look like in the first photos released by toyota which if you notice were shot from some distance.....so for those who dont like how the front-end looks in the photo, well, yes, it does look like the photos if you view if from some distance.
the model I saw was an SR5 with a gray plastic plate covering the middle of the front bumper. I flicked the edge of the gray plate, and it moves a little bit so I suspect its attached to the bumper itself with some kind of plastic clips implying that if you remove the gray plate, there will be hole visible in the bumper. (I didnt try to feel the underside of the bumper if there, indeed, are plastic clips).
As for that 'gaping hole' in the middle front end where the black grille is located - I felt the black grille and , I think it feels plastic- I had to linger my hand over the grille and kept touching it because I was expecting it to be a metal grille, but it seems to be a plastic front grille -I was tempted to break off a piece just to prove my dissapointment - since it bended, but the sales rep was looking. Can anyone confirm that the grille is indeed some kind of plastic ?
The impression I got from looking at the front end is that it kinda reminds me somewhat of the late-1990s mitsubishi montero Sport SUV that also had a 'weak' looking bumper.
there was only 1 model at the dealer so based on what i have seen, the Limited version is the way to go if you want to play it safe...or perhaps get a trail/SR5 without that gray plate in the middle of the bumper(it gives it a 'softer' look) - better get a bumper with same color as the rest of the 4runner then add-on accessories...
The interior was all black and was not bad at all -its got an 'expensive feel'. thats the best thing i can say right now - which jibes with what others have said about the interior. I didnt even go sit inside since i was more concerned for now with the exterior.
so thats it folks, I'll take a little bit more time to decide on buying, and see if the exterior look of the SR5/Trail can be remedied with 3rd party accesories or just play it safe and go with the limited.

Unfortunately I think you were looking at a Trail model, not an SR5. The Trail model has the silver trim on the bumpers and the all black interior. FYI. Might want to do a bit more research before you decide.
@ crawler, your probably right - i didnt bother to ask the sales rep if it was sr5 or trail - i did remember him saying its a 4x4 version. priced around $35,000 plus... thanks for pointing that out, I'll go next to another dealer that has more inventory when i have time so i can check out the sr5 and limited. maybe my impressions will change, next time around...

I've read and seen its in the left rear one. But just read another thread that his XM is missing on his Trail (lower trim) model. Others say the same and dealer didn't have an answer. No idea what's going on. It's suppose too be on all models. He doesn't even have shark fin. Everyone is confused...
I'm not certain what your hangup is about the plastic grille and bumper. No one makes a metal bumper anymore. Stamping can't make the complex shapes and the crash structure is big, ugly and metal behind the bumper skin. Personally, I'll take the gapping maw of the SR5/TE because you'll likely just have to replace a grille insert instead of getting a $200 bumper skin and $300 in paint work when you catch a piece of retread.
