2014 4Runner

The more Magnetic Grey T4R LE's I see the more I regret getting white! It's a gorgeous color..

I was going to get white (last T4Rs were both black) and then I saw this beauty in the sunlight and fell in love with Magnetic Grey!

If you plan on keeping the stock wheels/tires for a bit I recommend putting the 1.25" Spidertraxx on. They change the look of the vehicle completely, and don't rub at all.

Exactly my story! Put my name on a White LE that was headed to the stealership. Luckily when it showed up it didn't have an option I wanted, and saw a mag grey LE on the lot. Decided the chrome and mag grey combo really contrasted well. Ended up ordering one up that day!

I might just do that! Any issues with running spacers at all?

No none so far at all. They help eliminate the ugly wheel stance.

Looks good! Was just about to ask you to post up some pics of them on. Been thinking of running spacers to push the wheels out. And now the pics are making me want a white one again! Thanks. :frusty:

Also, are those factory mud flaps? Getting tired of the rooster tails without flaps.

Yeah they are factory. I will eventually take better pictures, but it's been so cold lately I've been lazy.

Just got my SR5 premium last night, and have a few questions. Did searches, but just couldn't find the exact answer.

Are there indents on the 2014's behind the 4Runner letters on the back?

Nothing behind the SR5's on the side, correct?

Also, can plastidip be purchased at Home Depot or some place like that. Does it really peel off that easily? Just wondering if I really have to remove the letters/emblems to paint them.

Thanks for your help and look forward to start working on it.

Blizard Pearl with Redwood interior Limited

This is my second 4runner. I had an 01, and traded it for a Infiniti FX35. and now back to the runner.

I love it! Much much better ride now compared to my 01.

I ordered mine since Im dead set on the Blizzard Pearl with Redwood interior combo with NO running boards and other options. I had to wait 4 weeks to get it. Got it from Koons Toyota in Tyson/Viena, VA.

1 Dislike..
-if you have the keyless remote in your pocket and you wash the truck..as you wash around the front door handles.. they'll go lock - unlock constantly! it does warn/mention that on pg 112 of the manual. So keep the key away :)

-1 per engine revolution "whomp-whomp" noise (for the lack of better description :) specially during idle? Its well pronounced on 2014 Limited :( louder during initial start up for the day and can be heard distictively at stop lights :( I've been hoping that as the Runner gets more miles it'll go. Have about 2400 miles now(April 2014).

That's it... everything else I love!

The mudguards/flaps are not an options to the Limited.. or at least here in my region. I still bought the parts and dry fit them... they fit just fine in the aft of the fenders. Now mine does not have the running boards. With a little mod(drill a couple of additional holes to give them holding/stiffer durability through the plastic fender guards.. they fit just perfect. last 3 pix below shows them.

How much did you pay for the 3M invisible bra? I was thinking of getting one especially for the chrome strip.

$550 with Military discount. Full front and side mirrors.
*Film doesn't want to stick on the headlights :( will redo those in a couple of months.

I wondered if that was a kit or not - doesn't matter, beautiful car. The 997 is such a great and reliable 911. Have fun with her. (I'll be driving a yellow 991 GT3 in May.)

Long time lurker, first time posting. Picked up my 2014 TE the other day... Sorry for the poor quality cell phone pic. More to come.

Any help on indents on 2014's?

Great looking '14 LTE Mike. Like a few others I was torn between the white and the Mag Gray. I almost bought my Magnetic Gray LTE from Koons but Antwerpen found me one for a bit less. They couldn't find me a Redwood interior though so I settled on black.
I'm definitely going to do the 3M clear bra but I can't decide if I want to go smoke to further tone down the chrome strip on the grill. Anyone else with MG done that?
Mud flaps are going on as soon as I finish the engine bay light mod.

Pics of my new SR5 Premium. Got it Thursday night and already had stuff taken apart Saturday. Neighbors thought I was crazy, haha. Always debadge or black out chrome though first.
