I haven't seen the power boards in person but that may be a possibility as well. IIRC, I had to do the very same thing on a few Amp/Bestop power boards too. See if the board itself has a track or rail that the arm assembly bolts into. If it does, you should be able to loosen just the board and position it where you need it.

i think moving the auto RB's will entail drilling new holes for mounts. i think they mount on the existing holes that the regular RB's attach to.

Not correct. They slide back quite easily. No need to drill anything at all, so I'm not sure how it would void any warranty. There are 4 bolts that attach the board to the hangers. Loosen, slide back, tighten.

Has anyone seen any information as to 2015 colors this fall? I have previously searched, but only the TRD Pro press release comes up.... My Jeep alternative lifestyle lol, usually leaks color availabilities months in advance. I know this is a 2014 thread, but would some have waited if they knew, say... Mica, or some of the FJ colors became options. I may be a few Gens back, but hope to purchase a 5th soon.

Inferno red, black, and white. Funny thing is, I stopped by my local Toyota stealership today checking out a 2014 T4R. Many of the sales guys haven't even heard they were coming out with the Pro Series.

Hmm not sure .095" tubing is going to take much abuse. Most of the actual protective tubing over .125", shrockworks uses .134".

Depends on the diameter of the tubing. .095" on 1 1/2" tubing is just as strong as .125" on 2 or 2 1/2" tubing. Everything comes down to a compromise between maximum strength and light weight.

In hindsight I am wishing I had gone this route with the detachable steps instead of the standard Nfab step bar. Not that I have anything against the step bar. I just didn't even know what a slider was until I had already ordered it.

Forget about the tubing strength, I'm more interested in where it actually bolts on to the vehicle. If it's the same place where the NFAB side steps bolt on, then don't worry about the tubing material because I doubt that's the weak point in this equation, lol.
