2014 Gas Mileage

when I first bought mine, on a full tank the computer would give me a range of +420 miles until empty. I filled up the other day and it said 280... lol, for a 19 gallon tank that's about 14.7mpg... winning

T4Ranger, you stated the above ^^^....are you referring to what your sig shows "14 T4R TE Premium w/KDSS"?
I thought mine had a 23 gal tank all along!:jaw::bolt:

Great information here. Looking at '14 or '15 and was curious about the mileage on both trucks. Both appear to be very similar.
Not knowing how the 4wd is set up, would 4wd affect gas mileage while not activated vs. having a 2wd model?

My 14' sr5 got around 21 completely stock. Now with 3" lift and p rated 285's I get about 18-18.5 if I drove pretty normal. During the winter though it was anywhere from 16-17.5 mpg.

'14 Limited with no add ons and after 20K miles I'm getting 16.7. Half and half mix of backroads at 45-50 mph and highway with sections of one road that I drive more or less every day where I can coast for close to a mile assuming traffic isn't up my ass or backed up in front of me.

I had a '05 SR5 that I got close to 20 by the time all was said and done.

This is the second straight Toyota V6 we've had that has significantly underperformed stated efficiency. Prior to this we had a coughcoughSiennacoughcough that was absurd. We took a trip from the Philly area to Lake Ontario north of Syracuse - about 270 miles of more of continuous open highway - and I burned an entire tank which equates to about 12.3MPG. Probably kept btw 65-70 as I usually don't go any faster with the kids in the car.

I have a stock 2014 limited , up until this summer I was in the 17-18 range with about 60/40 highway city driving. This summer I have been around 20 with my last trip about 80/20 highway i got 21.5mpg. current mileage is 25K.

I have a 2015 Trail with 1300 miles and a set of 275 70 17 Cooper AT3's. I've been getting close to 15.4 in town on Shell Regular. A trip to the winery and back netted me 18+. Better than my old Land Rover, but not the 17 and 21 I was expecting. Maybe the motor has to break in? Maybe I'm too lead footed from having to gas the 6000 lb Rover around?
