2014 Homelink install anyone?

I used the procedure in the manual to program the homelink for our garage door opener. I remember I had a problem until I figured out you don't have much time to hit the button in the overhead panel and the button on the opener. 2013 SR5.

1. Did you use your own wire to run from the mirror to the steering wheel? Mine only came with 1foot of wire
2. How did you get your OE mirror off?

small trade off for being able to open the garage door with a cool button LMAO.... if you were installing homelink and now it wont start I imagine you killed a fuse

Priorities....
I figured sitting in the garage looking good with the homelink is more important than the vehicle working.
Like mounting a LED bar without wiring it.... Looks badass

Would really like more info on this. Just got my new TE and my garage door opener won't fit on my visor because the visor is so dang thick.

Just take the clip off the garage door opener, replace it with a small strip of velcro, and press it on the ceiling. I did that 2 years ago on mine, hasn't fallen off or moved yet.

Sorry to bring this post up from the dead, but looking to add the homelink buttons from the overhead console to my 2014 SR5 premium. Does anyone know if it is pre-wired behind the existing console, and if not, is there a write up on the install anywhere?
