2014 push button ignition

I have a 2014 limited. The cig lighters front and back go off after 20 minutes or so when ignition is aux mode or just on mode without engine running. Is there a fix to this or could the dealership change the settings? It was not like this on my 2011.

I also like to know where is best place to run wire directly to the battery from the back cargo area (through the firewall?) but where? I want to install a Fridge back there.

OK. Saftey feature so you don't kill your battery. Kind of a good idea....



Wire- run it down the fire wall, along the frame rail(ziptied), and through the cargo area behind under the carpet. You can zip tie it to the brake lines if you wanted to, so that way it's up and off the bottom of the frame rail.

You could also go through the firewall, probably Drivers side, right next to the fender.

Unless the '14s have drastically changed something....
